Climate, Jobs & Justice Accountability Forum

Long Island Action

EN ESPANOL DEBAJO

Looking for a way to take local climate action after the national People's Climate March? Please join hundreds of your fellow New Yorkers at a citywide forum for Climate, Jobs & Justice!

With our national administration taking us backwards in the fight against climate change and inequality, it is now even more vital that NYC step up our defense of the environment. Our city produces massive pollution which continues to choke our communities and threaten our livelihoods. We can fight both of these moral crises at the same time - but only by urging our top elected leaders to take comprehensive action, en masse and in person.

Join us for a mass people's interview of NYC Mayor de Blasio, Public Advocate James and Comptroller Stringer. Come learn about the issues that NYC needs to tackle locally, hear our leaders' views, and hold them accountable to taking the bold policy action we need to protect our people and our city from the threats of climate change.

Please be sure to spread the word, invite your communities and networks to participate, join our coalition as a co-sponsor, and be sure to RSVP here: https://actionnetwork.org/events/climate-jobs-and-justice-accountability...

This event is co-organized by:
The People's Climate March - NY, 350.org, 350NYC, ALIGN-NY, Bronx Climate Justice North, Faith in New York, Food & Water Watch, Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), New York Communities for Change (NYCC), New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, Sane Energy Project, Transform Don’t Trash NYC, WeACT for Environmental Justice and the Working Families Party (event co-sponsor list in formation).
