Shelter Island Democrats will dominate the November ballot with Supervisor Jim Dougherty running unopposed for a 4th term on the Democratic, Independence and Working Families lines. Highway Superintendent Jay Card, Jr. will also be unopposed for re-election on the DEM and IND lines. And just to make things really interesting, Bob Reylek is the candidate for Town Council on the DEM, IND and WFP lines, giving Lewis (R) and Brown (C) a run for the money in a 3-way race for 2 seats.
